What is the Missouri State Teachers Association?
The Student Missouri State Teachers Association is your bridge to a teaching career. It connects you to other education students in your school and around the state, give you an opportunity to network with professional educators and helps you prepare for a career in education.
With 38 chapters in Missouri and more than 2,400 member, S-MSTA is the per-professional organization for education students on Missouri college and university campuses.
The purpose of the local chapter is to provide its members with opportunities to:
Grow professionally
Develop leadership skills
Understand the history, ethics and program of the teaching profession
Participate in professional activities at the local and state levels.
