About SIFE
SIFE is a global non-profit organization active in more than 40 countries. SIFE is funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects that reach SIFE's five educational topics:
* Market Economics
* Success Skills
* Entrepreneurship
* Financial Literacy
* Business Ethics
SIFE team members leverage their personal educational experiences, the expertise of their faculty advisors, the support of their local business advisory boards, and the resources of their institutions to implement programs that create real economic opportunities for members of their communities. The effectiveness of their programs is judged at competition. Each national SIFE organization conducts a national competition, which is judged by leaders from its business community. At competition, SIFE teams present the results of their educational outreach projects and compete to determine which team was most successful at creating economic opportunity for others. SIFE National Champion teams advance to the top level of competition, the SIFE World Cup.

About Missouri State University SIFE
Our Campus
Missouri State University was established in 1905. We are the second largest university in Missouri with over 19,000 students on our campus. The largest college on our campus is the College of Business Administration. The College of Business has 6,300 majors, and is an AACSB International Accredited Program. On top of being the second largest university, Missouri State offers more than 150 undergraduate majors and 47 graduate programs many are the state’s strongest and largest of their kind. Nearly 90 percent of the 700 full-time faculty members have a doctorate or the highest degree in their field.
Our Mission
We are Missouri State University Students in Free Enterprise, a student service organization, driven to promote economic opportunities for those on our campus, in our communities and worldwide, in the areas of financial literacy, market economics, business ethics, success skills, and entrepreneurship. We will accomplish this through visionary projects, communication, teamwork, and with dedications to our members, campus, business advisory board, and community. We share what we learn to improve the lives of others.
History
Missouri State SIFE was founded in 1988, and as we are celebrating our 20th year, this year is our strongest year yet. Our team members are not offered academic credit or scholarships for participation in SIFE.
