2007-2008 Goals
1. Facilitate the professional development of students entering human resource management
careers.
1) Inform and educate students in fundamental and current HR issues.
2) Develop networking relationships with area HR professionals.
3) Equip students to enter the job market and be competitive in the HR job search.
2. Develop a group of future HR professionals who have a common interest in furthering their
professional development and the human resource management profession.
This will be accomplished through the achievement of the following goals and objectives.
1) Conduct recruitment activities to increase chapter membership 35% during the 2007-2008 academic year.
2) Communication of chapter events by publishing a newsletter four times during the academic year.
3) Participation and service to the SAHRA professional HR organization.
4) Holding bi-weekly meetings each fall and spring semester.
5) Take at least one company tour each academic year.
