Directions to Fairview Float Trips

Take Highway 65 out of Springfield to I-44.  Travel east on I-44 for about an hour.

Exit at exit 153.  This is the Buckhorn exit.

Follow Highway 17 south.  (Turn right off the exit, and stay on the road.  There is a sign.  It will take you back past the Shell Station.)  Continue for about 10 miles.  If you go twelve, youve gone too far.

Do Not turn at the sign on the left that says Fairview with an arrow.  Its a church. 

Turn right on Sonora Ln.  This is the very next road after you see the E Highway junction.  There is also a large Forest Service lookout tower.  There is a sign that says Fairview Lookout Tower.  Sonora Ln is just past it on the right.

While on Sonora do not drive too fast.  The road becomes one lane, and then appears to dead end at a gate.  (My friends have crashed here, so really dont speed.)  The road turns right at the gate.  Follow it until you come to the river.
