Day Hiking in Busiek State Forest

Directions from campus

South on National Avenue to Highway 60
Take 60 East to the edge of town
Take 65 South 18 miles
Turn left at the big Busiek State Forest sign
Follow the road down to the bottom and follow under the bridge past the rock quarry.

What you should bring

Comfortable shoes
Suitable clothing you can move in and that is suitable for the weather
Water bottle (1 liter will probably suffice, but you might consider brining 2 liters) - cheap disposable water bottles work fine
Small backpack (optional)
Snacks (optional)
