Are you a member of a campus organization that is looking for a way to get involved in the community or plan a service event? Habitat is a great way to do exactly that. The Missouri State Chapter of Habitat works to fulfill the four pillars established by Habitat for Humanity, International through all of our events, fundraisers, and meetings. There are several ways your campus organization can get involved with MSU Habitat. Please browse through the information below to leran about how to get involved. Greek Organizations- A great way to get some positive PR for the Greek community is to help sponsor Habitat for Humanity. You can help directly by donating to our Habitat house or by becoming a sponsor for any of our events. We have plenty of fundraisers and events throughout the year, and if you are interested in participating, please see Sponsor an Event below.

Habitat Ambassadors Program- MSU Habitat is creating this program to establish better relations with other student organizations on our campus. If your organization would like to learn about Habitat International, our chapter, or to receive more information on how you can get involved, please contact MSUHabitatforHumanity@gmail.com to schedule a short presentation to be given at your organization's next meeting!

MSU Habitat Recycling Program- MSU Habitat is looking to implement Cans for Habitat, a can recycling program, to serve as a fundraiser and to help promote sustainability in our community. Building with Habitat- MSU Habitat only reserves build spots for our members who have participated or helped organize a past Habitat event, or for organizations who have co-sponsored an event. All sign-ups for build spots are done at our general meetings. If your group would like to build on a Habitat house, your organization will need to sign up through the local affiliate, Springfield Habitat. Please visit their web site, www.habitatspringfieldmo.org, and/or contact Springfield Habitat Volunteer Coordinator Nancy Williams at NancyWilliams@habitatspringfieldmo.org for more information. She will be able to help you with any questions or requests that you have about your organization building with HFH.
