Treasurer

The Treasurer shall have general charge of the financial affairs of the chapter and shall have, in general, all the powers and perform all the duties incident to the office of Treasurer and such other duties as may, from time to time, be prescribed by the Board or the President. The Treasurer is responsible for the following:

  • Maintaining the financial records of the chapter
  • Providing for the safekeeping of the funds
  • Receiving monies dues and payable to the chapter
  • Depositing all such monies in the name of the chapter
  • Distributing funds authorized to be paid by the chapter
  • Keeping detailed fundraising records to be submitted in the annual report

The Treasurer oversees the Finance Committee of our chapter. This committee is responsible for the financial affairs of the chapter and for the fundraising programs of the chapter. The committee assumes the primary responsibility for developing and ensuring that there is proper implementation and administration of the chapter's fundraising programs and fiscal matters. As such, Jim oversees the Material and Monetary Acquisition Committees.

Material Acquisition Committee and Chairperson- The Material Acquisiton Committee is respsonsible for fundraising related materials for build projects. This includes, but is not limited to, compiling proposal packages, contacting companies, and coordinating contact efforts.

Monetary Acquisition Committee and Chairperson- The Monetary Acquisition Committee is responsible for fundraising monetary gifts for chapter projects.
