TOPIC: FALL 2008 AGENDA

 

MINUTES

ATTENDANCE: Mike Wood, Eric Barr, Sarah Beckmann, Cali Duncan

 

1.     Better World Books:  We discussed possible locations for the collection boxes.  Mike will contact MSU Bookstore, Eric will contact Text Bucks, and Sarah will contact Student Book Exchange to ask if we can set up our collection boxes at these places.

2.     Adopt-A-Street Clean-up:  Cali will email executive members about the availability to do this.

3.     Induction Ceremony: We set the date of Sunday, November 4^th at 2 p.m.  Executive Council members should be there around 1 p.m. to help set up.  We need a Keynote speaker for this event so please email Cali with any possible speakers.  Also, Alex, can you put an ad in the Standard and in the MSU weekly activities email about Induction sometime near November 4^th?

4.     Elections Meeting:  We set the date of Thursday, November 8^th at 6:30 for a General Assembly/Elections meeting.  After induction, we will email all the new members to see who might be interested in being an officer.
