Most chapters of Gamma Iota Sigma are located in or near insurance-oriented communities. Therefore, job opportunities on both the internship and career level are abundant. National insurance companies often offer internships in sales and/or home office training. Gamma Iota Sigma offers an Industry-College Linkage Program. Actually, more than half of all insurance jobs for men and women are in non-sales type of work. The need for managerial talent at all levels continues to grow. The demand for women in the insurance field is at an all-time high, in all types of careers and levels.
