Beta Alpha Psi 

Member Requirements

You are eligible to be a Candidate if you meet the following requirements:

      1) You have declared (or stated an intention to declare) a major in ACC, FGB, or CIS.

      2) You have completed 45 credit hours of collegiate courses.

      3) You have attained one of the following:
 
            a) A cumulative average GPA in all subjects completed of at least 3.25, OR
            b) A rank within the top 35% of your university class, OR
            c) A cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on your most recent 30 hours.

      4) You must remain active for at least one semester after being initiated.

You are eligible to be initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, as a member, if you meet the following requirements:

      1)   Are a degree candidate for a major in ACC, FGB, or CIS, AND

      2)   Have completed, in addition to 60 credit hours of collegiate courses, at least one

            upper-level course in your major, AND

      3)   Have attained a cumulative GPA in upper-level courses in your declared major of

            at least 3.25, AND

      4)   You have attained one of the following:

            a) A cumulative average GPA in all subjects completed of at least 3.25, OR
            b) A rank within the top 35% of your university class, OR
            c) A cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 on your most recent 30 hours, AND

      5)   Have adequately completed the Candidate Program.
