1.         Web Development Seminar

The seminar is postponed until next semester, probably early February.  The planning committee will be contacted later with more information.  Kent will speak with SOFAC to make sure this postponement will not hinder AITP funding. 

2.         Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be November 19 at 6pm in Glass 342.  Students were reminded to visit our chapter website for updated information 

3.         Membership Dues

Students were again reminded about membership dues. Dues are $45 for one calendar year. This covers both national and local dues.

4.         Guest Speaker

Brent Morgan was our guest speaker for the evening. Brent is an Missouri State alumnus and is employed by The Innovation Group in Overland Park, KS.  TIG is headquartered in England with offices throughout the world.  Brent discussed the basics of Service-Based Architecture and illustrated the many benefits of this system design.
