1.         Introduction

Traci began the meeting by again giving a brief introduction of AITP 

2.         Computer Day

Another sign-up sheet was passed around for computer day volunteers. Computer day will be held on Wednesday, October 1 on the third floor of Glass Hall.  A partial list of companies includes: ANPAC, FedEx, Cerner, Sprint, DataTronics, Edward Jones, and Payless. 

3.         Resume Books

Students were reminded about resume books. Resumes and submissions forms are to be turned in to the CIS office.  The deadline was 9/18/03, but we will still accept applications on 9/19/03

4.         Membership

            Membership applications can be picked up and returned to the CIS office, Glass
            359. Dues are $45.

5.         Panel Discussion

The September 30 panel discussion was announced again.  The panel will consist of several employers from computer day. The exact location and date is to be announced.

6.         Next Meeting

Our next regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 6pm in Glass 342.  There will be no meeting on October 1 due to Computer Day.

7.         Web Site

Traci displayed the AITP website: http://studentorganizations.missouristate.edu/aitp/  The website has been updated for the new semester and will continue to be updated with minutes and meeting times throughout the semester.          

8.         Closing

            The meeting was adjourned with refreshments of pizza and soda.
