Thursday, November 5th:

November 4th General Assembly Meeting

There are a few upcoming activities that we covered in last nights General Assembly meeting I would like to remind you all of:

  • Our annual formal will be on April 10th from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the PSU Ballroom East. I think you should all consider being on the Formal Committee, because it is a lot of fun and a great way to earn points.
  • Induction will be on February 27th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the PSU Theater. We will need all the help we can get.
  • Our Shoebox for Soldiers activity went great! We still need to help cover the postage cost, so if you would like toearn a point, consider donating.
  • On Saturday, November 21st from 11:30am to 2:30pm, we will be working as Crosslines to prepare baskets of Thanksgiving food for people in need. More emails will go out about this later on.
  • On Tuesday, November 10, we will have a movie night at The Palace. Tickets are only $1 on Tuesdays. More information about this will be available soon.

I believe that's all for now!

Thursday: September 3rd:

The new website is up!

Welcome to Phi Eta Sigma's new website. I promise to  keep everything updated as best as possible. If you have questions or anything you'd like to see added to the website, don't hesitate to contact me or any of the other Exectutive Board members.

Some key highlights of the website include the society's history, some FAQs, and a link to the national website (all in the "About Us" section). Information on the Executive Board is available, and our office hours are located in the "Contact Us" section. The meeting schedule for the entire year is online and your points will be updated after every meeting and event. Check it out!

On another note, our September 2nd General Assembly meeting went fairly well. We discussed some of the upconing events, including Dance Bear-A-Thon,  the upcoming blood drive, our street cleanup on Saturday September 12th, and a Dogfest from 9AM to 4PM on the 26th. More information on those events will be available as we receive it.
