Thursday, October 29:
Shoebox for Soldiers Service Activity
If you're looking for a good way to get another service point, Phi Eta Sigma is participating in Shoebox for Soldiers from now until November 4. All you have to do is bring an item from the list below and/or a $1 donation to the office during any one to the Exec Board's hours (on the "contact us" page). You can also turn the item(s)/money in to our president Heather Hoffman. This would be a great way to help out a soldier before Christmas.
The items are as follows:

EVENT: DogFest
WHEN: Saturday, September 26th
WHERE: Chesterfield Family Center
WHAT: Assist with set-up, filling water bowls, other light manual labor
TIME: 9am-4pm
You can go anytime between 9 and 4. I will be there at 9 to help set up and will stay for a couple hours. Thursday: September 3rd:
The new website is up!
Welcome to Phi Eta Sigma's new website. I promise to keep everything updated as best as possible. If you have questions or anything you'd like to see added to the website, don't hesitate to contact me or any of the other Exectutive Board members.
Some key highlights of the website include the society's history, some FAQs, and a link to the national website (all in the "About Us" section). Information on the Executive Board is available, and our office hours are located in the "Contact Us" section. The meeting schedule for the entire year is online and your points will be updated after every meeting and event. Check it out!
On another note, our September 2nd General Assembly meeting went fairly well. We discussed some of the upconing events, including Dance Bear-A-Thon, the upcoming blood drive, our street cleanup on Saturday September 12th, and a Dogfest from 9AM to 4PM on the 26th. More information on those events will be available as we receive it.
