Erin Oberreither

Hey Guys!  My name is Erin Oberreither.  I am from Eldon, Missouri.  Most people have NO idea where that is, but it’s 15 miles north of Lake of the Ozarks.  The town has a population of 4,819 and it has absolutely NOTHING to do, but it’s home.  I graduated in May 2007 from Eldon High School.  Our class graduated about 155 students.  We are a close-knit type of school where everyone knows everyone.  I was a big part of our FFA, FBLA, Student Council, Volleyball, NHS, Relay-for Life Committee & Prom Committee.  So, I was pretty busy in high school, but loved every minute of it.  I decided to come to MSU because the campus is so compact. It feels a little bit like a small town, which you know I comfortable in.  My major is Finance, because I’m not up to the task of Accounting.  I love numbers and am always interested in the banking world.  Weird, I know!  My favorite food is anything Mexican or Flo’s 7 oz. filet from Longhorn Steakhouse, ha! Favorite color is pink, number is 10.  I think that I am a pretty average person.  I am into girly things like shopping, scrapbooking, going to the movies, but also like being outside and enjoying warm weather.  My friends and I always decide to do things at the last minute.  There is no planning in my life, which annoys me more than anything.  Someday, I will fix that.  When I grow up (AKA graduate), I hope I will get married.  I have had a serious boyfriend since I was 14 and yes, we will probably get married in a few years. I have a huge family, and want to add 3 kids to the madness!  I joined AKPsi because I rushed for a social sorority and decided it was not for me.  When I went to play laser tag, it was SO much more my style… just going out and having a good time.  I am so glad that I decided to join, not only for the fun times, but also the rewarding friendships and networking.  All I have heard is that networking is a must when you are looking for a decent job straight out of college.  I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning new things about life through AKPsi!  Thank you all for welcoming me into the fraternity!
